Meet The Team

We consider our employees our "Enchanted Family".  Take a few moments and learn more about our staff.  We have the best people!

Laura Glueckert, owner and founder

Growing up, my mother made our home a spot of comfort and beauty and stimulated by love of home and garden.  She hauled me to interior design and landscaping classes at the local community college.  Growing up in Santa Barbara, California my mother and I would explore the foothills and pick dried wild grasses and branches, then come home and arrange our finds in vases and adorn our home.  After graduating from high school, my family bought a floral shop in Western Montana and mother and myself were off to floral design school.  My father’s entrepreneurial spirit inspired my desire to own a business of my own.

Laura Gluckert, founder and owner.

My husband and our two children, Nolan and Colleen,  moved to Eastern Montana with his employment and an opportunity arose to open a store with a partner where we melded our loves.  Fabric for her and floral and gifts for myself.  That was the beginning of Enchanted Room.  We currently house over 6,000 bolts of quilting fabric, notions, books and patterns, gifts and home décor.
Eighteen years later another opportunity came available across the street from the Enchanted Room.  An abandoned episcoplalian church built in 1885 came up for sale.  Within half an hour after contacting the realtor, Enchanted Living was born.  My husband, Ray, and myself then spent the next two years renovating the building.  Enchanted Living is now the sanctuary of fine home furnishings and kitchen and culinary items in the lower level.

In 2017 a new partner joined me.  With Lisa’s love of home furnishings and gifts and her desire to learn, it has motivated me to share my 23 years of retail experience.  My greatest joy is assisting our customers with bringing beautiful furnishings and gifts into their home and sparking a newfound hobby with fabric and quilting.  I strive to continue to grow these businesses and share my passion.

Future desires for me personally are to spend as much time as I can with my two beloved grandchildren, Avery and Gus, travel, and be with my side kick for life, my husband Ray!

Lisa Kelly, owner

I was lucky enough to grow up in a home where my parents made our family and home their number one priority.  My Dad was always repairing things before they were broke and painted walls at the first sign of wear.  My friends used to joke that my Mom chased them with a vacuum as they walked in the door!  She loved to change the furniture around and to this day keeps their home beautiful.  I have often told my husband he can now blame my love of changing around our furniture to her!

Lisa KellyFor as long as I can remember, visiting Enchanted Room on the weekend or during a lunch break has been one of my favorite things to do. Walking in the front door being greeted by happy people as well as happy items has always been therapeutic to me.  Little did I know how life would change and I would get to be a part of that therapy every day.

I am a photographer by trade and over two years ago, Laura asked if I would come into their stores and photograph items to begin an e-commerce sector of their business.  The next thing I knew, I was the newest employee.  With the pending retirement of Laura’s longtime partner, I expressed interest in the businesses and the rest is history.  I strive every day to learn more about the “Enchanted” world.  I have the best partner and teacher in the world in Laura and I cannot wait to see what our future holds.

My husband Steve and I have two children.  Evan is working on his future at college and Kayla will be doing the same next Fall.  Our future as “empty nesters” is both scary and exciting, which another reason why I am so happy to be where I am today.

I am a longarm quilter from Dickinson, ND. Home e I am a longarm quilter from Dickinson, ND. Home economics and 4H started my interest in sewing. I began piecing quilts in 2000 and was always frustrated by the words "quilt as desired" at the end of the pattern. I knew I wanted more than meandering on my quilts, so I took a couple of classes to learn to quilt on my domestic machine. I enjoyed this method, but when a friend and I went to a quilt show in Fargo where Gammill was vending, I was a able to get hands on experience using a long arm machine and I was hooked! Within 6 weeks a Gammill Classic was delivered to my door and I've never regretted it!
The quilting world has seen many challenges since I began long arming. Social media and the internet have exploded and long armers are constantly exchanging ideas and learning from each other. Teachers and designers are able to reach many quilters and we are constantly being exposed to new ideas and techniques. It is exciting to say the least.
I have enjoyed quilting for others, have met many new friends an feel challenged to improve my craft daily. There are so many young quilters (men and women) to share this passion to create. It truly is more to me than just a job. I hope you enjoy seeing my work. Take a preview and view my work on Instagram tamaraburke55.
